It Started With a Seed
LOVE this quilt!!!

All pieced, applique and quilted by the creator and artist.
Brandie is the best! AND she is our Quilt Show Chair!
Brandie and Suzanne, her co-chair did an outstanding job
Kudos to you both for working your butts off for ASQG!!!

Another fellow blogger ~ Esther of Threads on the Floor
Following are 3 quilts made by Esther...
Chocolate Covered Caramel Apple Storm at Sea
A close up of her gorgeous quilting
(it was really hard to choose which one to post first because they are all equally amazing!)
Grandmother's Flower Pots
I didn't get a good close up of Grandmother's Flower Pots but you can see it here on Esther's Blog

Celtic Knot of Three Cords

  !!!WOW!!!
As a machine quilter, the quilting is what I see first when I look at a quilt. Watching Esther's progress as a machine quilter has been inspiring for me. Not to confuse the fact that Esther has been a really good quilter for some time, her quilt (pictured below) won the Best Large Quilt ribbon at Annie's Star last quilt show 2 years ago :0)
Mariner's in a Pickle
I am proud to call both of these women my friends and am blessed to be surrounded by such talented needle artists. Their inspiration is what keeps me going, striving to become a better machine quilter.

And here are my quilts in our show...
I am proud of my Medallion made as a SAL with Lori and Randy
Birds on a Medallion

Red Feathers
My Red and White quilt
which was hung right next to Betty Sweet's quilt that won Best in Show
We have some amazing talent in our area and guild!

My third quilt
My Garden Grows in the Sun

Plus our Paint Chip Challenge quilts...
This is my Disappearing Nine Patch
Brandie's is in the top row, second in from the right
Thank you for visiting! More to come...
Pics with the Best of quilts and our featured quilter, Bev
Time to get to work, enjoy the day
