Look who lives in these houses!

Freddy Moran houses!
Painted bright and set in black and white. Classic Freddy!
This quilt was organized by Carol G and blocks were made by her small group,
members of Annie's Star Quilt Guild as a fund raiser for KIXE our local PBS station.
There is a fish living in this house! Love the roof :0)
And Winnie the Pooh lives here!
The red one must be the dog house ;0)

Fun quilt! Carol presented the quilt at our guild's meeting Thursday. Quilted for community service, I used neon green threads, Glide on the back and a Fantastico on the front. Quilting design is Peacock Feathers by Apricot Moon. I believe it was a cotton poly blend for batting as it had more loft than the Warm and Natural community service used in the past. Speaking of batting, I just finished a customer quilt with the new Tuscany batting from Hobbs. It's a cotton and wool blend. I LOVE it!!! I haven't taken pix yet along with a couple more quilts finished this week. Next post :0) Our guest speaker at the guild meeting was Mary Kay Davis. Really good trunk show and workshop yesterday.

We are quite happy with a good rain storm that moved in yesterday. It poured and we need the water. Less wind would be better tho. Good weather to work on some quilt projects. That's what I have planned, to finish a top I started yesterday in our guild's workshop at HRQ with Mary Kay. Pix of everyone's tops posted on Ramblin' Rows.

btw... there is a Sue Spargo workshop coming up at the end of March with a few spaces still available. 5 days of classes... Honey Run Quilters for more info!
Tot Ziens! Enjoy your weekend, Jo
