Quilts for Betty

Lately I am quilting faster than I am taking pix! Which is a good thing with PIQF and the holidays coming up in the all too near future :0) At the beginning of this month Betty brought in 4 quilts, all of which she has picked up. Love her work and especially love quilting for her, one of my favs :0)

Check out this cute baby quilt...
This is the row print mixed in with other fabrics that Betty used to make this cutie

and the kangaroo quilting design that worked perfectly for this quilt!
LOVE my Innova!

Above is the backing, a pretty ribbed knit similar to Minkee... very soft and cuddly
and ever so stretchy!!! again, love my Innova!

lots of cute Aussie Babies :0)

A 2nd quilt Betty brought in was actually pieced by her small group part of our quilt guild.
It's a quilt top they started during our guild's community service night this summer.
(Just as many longarmer's do... my quilting time is donated to community service)
Also guild related... this was a guild's recent block of the month
Betty won all of these blocks made by guild members...
and now they are Bee Haven!
That's the design from Anne Bright I used to line up to each of the blocks
to finish off this fun quilt

and last is a quilt Betty made... I believe the name is Maisie Daisy
Very graphic and very scrappy!
Quilted with Echo b2b also by Anne Bright

Definitely some very fun quilts!
Thank you Betty :0)

These were finished a week or so ago... many more have come and gone
some with pix and some without
Having a hard time keeping up!

Two for Tina

First of two quilts made by Tina B
Great fabrics, especially the setting triangles
Tina used to make this nine patch set on point.

Quilted with a new design from Anne Bright
Bee Haven (Love the name too!)
Quilted with the repeat of the Cone Flower and a bee in each of the background squares!
I love to do custom e2e :0)

Thread is Omni in Green Olive from Superior
quilted on Quilter's Dream Machine Blend
Love the floral fabric!

A custom e2e for the second quilt as well...
This purple Pluses quilt is a better example of how cool a custom e2e can be set up!

Tina made this quilt scrappy
reversing the values is always a great effect :0)

This one is also quilted with a design from Anne Bright
This is Echo b2b
and a better example of how an e2e or b2b can be used in blocks
for a custom look without all the starts and stops! Yea!!!
First time I tried out this design was on a quilt made by Claudia ~ link

Quilted with a purple Omni named Royalty
Batting is a newer cotton from Quilter's Dream
This is Deluxe, which is a little thicker than Select
and a really nice alternative to W&N

Bordered with a Grunge (love :0) as well as the backing.
I was able to trim the quilting design and use it in the border, worked great!

Thank you Tina!

More quilts were finished for Carol and Kelly
Thankful for the cooler weather !

Enjoy your weekend
