Goldie and the Girls

Sandy and Phoebe picked up Sandy's Bargello quilt this afternoon

The inner border or stop border is silk! Nice addition

Quilting design is Quill b2b in the center field with the Quill border/corner set
in the outer border. Quilted with Fantastico from Superior
Batting is Quilter's Dream 100% cotton in Deluxe, a new bat from QD
Much better alternative to W&N !!! No stems and seeds :0)

 Beautiful batik backing
Thank you Sandy, for the card too.
Michael loved it, we both did!

 Phoebe's VERY scrappy quilt!
As scrappy as it gets! Well done by our Scrappy Queen :0)

Even has a little bit of Halloween!

The friendship star with sashing is the primary block
and a Churn Dash emerged
where we choose to center the quilting pattern on and frame the stars
creating a custom e2e!

Quilting design is Twirl Pantograph by Keryn Emmerson
Quilted with Omni V, a wonderful new variegated thread from Superior.
Batting is QD Cotton Deluxe
Thank you Phoebe

and last but not least are 2 quilts for Goldie...
Pretty in Pink! Log cabins with a great Paisley border fabric
I choose a new paisley pattern from Anne Bright...
Paisley Loops
Goldie provided the batting, QD Polly Puff
It's a great 100% poly, great for a baby quilt
and it quilts and looks just like wool.

More pink plus the paisley fabric on the back... nice!

It's a toss up between Goldie and Phoebe for the Scrap Queen Crown!
Altho Sandy can hold her own as well!
This one by Goldie is great... with some really little squares!!!
All 1930s repros...
I choose a quilt design to compliment many of the traditional daisy prints.
April Flowers by Anne Bright

and a very sweet flannel backing fabric for this baby quilt

Thank you Goldie, Sandy and Phoebe!!!
aka The Goldie Girls ;0)

Tot ziens, stay cool!!! Jo

Two little quilts for Carol

Carol is a free form quilter using up stash!

She picked up these two cute little guys

Both are quilted with Quilter's Dream wool.
The top below has a layer of cotton under the wool to keep the whites bright.

Quilted with Music Mania, a new design from Anne Bright
using a SoFine40 variegated thread from Superior.
Carol made this baby quilt for a friend that loves music :0)

Pieced backing with a touch of Hawaii!
This one is quilted with the new Omni V from Superior. Love!

Close up of the geometric print quilt with a great geometric design!

Another Hawaiian print for the backing!

There are 4 more quilts to go for this round.
Many are made with fabrics that belonged to Carol's mom
with a goal of making quilts to share with family.
Quilters are best!!! Thank you Carol. See you soon!

Baltimore Beauty by Judy

Custom quilted for Judy P

Judy's needle turn applique is gorgeous with 3D flowers
Beautiful!!!

Perfect fabric choice for the pineapples... love it!

Here you can see some of the dimensional work that Judy did

Choice was to do a simple fast echo type fill. Borders are quilted with a feather, literally done with a Quill design as a fill on the busy paisley fabric.

Batting is Quilter's Dream Machine Blend
Quilted with Omni in the borders and sashing
All of the blocks are quilted with SoFine50 to match the background fabric.

Thank you Judy!

Graduation quilt for Kathryn

Kathryn made this quilt for a close friend celebrating her graduation

Great choice of fabrics and pattern for a friend that loves... purple!
Quilted with Sugar Scull Flowers... a fav from Anne Bright
also quilted for Donna on a fund raiser quilt that she made for her friend
that is fighting Pancreatic Cancer. Always impressed just how amazing my friends are!

The center worked out great, I knew it was spot on horizontally but it worked out
vertically too. Love when that happens!

Thread is a newer one from Superior... Omni V
... a variegated version of Omni that I absolutely love using!
It shows up nicely for e2e designs when you want the design
to play second fiddle to the quilt top.

Didn't get a full shot but it's a good pattern with a medallion center.
Kathryn did a great job of fabric selection and layout.
Well done! Thank you Kathryn
